Just when Playa Negras last great ocean view lot sold another one, thankfully, comes to market...this one!
Located on the edge of phase one and phase two in this residential community, this sweeping ocean view lot is the stuff dreams are made of. This Playa Negra ocean view lot is large. It has a total of 5000 meters or 1.25 acres. The building pad for this large estate lot is easily a full quarter acre. There is plenty of room here to build a gorgeous ocean view home with a large infinity pool where you will watch the sun setting nearly every single day. Furthermore, there is plenty of room for a guest house or mother-in-law home. Either one or both of the homes will be easily rented out whether long or short term until you can find your way to retire here. There are no rental restrictions in this community for any of the normal advertising mediums such as Airbnb, VRBO, FlipKey, and all the rest. This ocean view lot is located just six minutes down the mountain to the beach and about four minutes to the center of Playa Negra.
This development has all the normal utilities. They are just now connecting the public water to the internal water lines. There is electricity. They have internet through a new WiMax tower recently installed in the project. A great cell signal is provided by one of the three local providers - Claro, Ice/Kolbi, or Movistar. There are no telephone lines in the project but you don’t need them. All homeowners here have hotspot wifi modems for the internet. HOA fees here are $1000.00 per year. They cover road maintenance.
Historically, Playa Negra was a sleepy little town. It mostly saw tourism during the times when the beach here had surfing waves. Incidentally, it is one of Costa Rica’s top surfing destinations. However, since million-dollar beachfront homes were built here a new type of tourist is coming to the area. As a consequence, the town has filled with all the necessary services that one expects. There are tourism shops, rental shops, a plethora of great restaurants including Villa DeeVina which was heralded by the New York Times. What makes Playa Negra so perfect is that it is just close enough to everything and just far enough away at the same time.
It only takes a moment to realize your dreams…what are you waiting for?
