Silvia Rodriguez
Sylvia was born and raised in San José, Costa Rica. Since the beginning, as a little girl, she was very interested in nature and animals which led her to study Biology and Conservation. She moved to Tamarindo in 2001 to pursue her dreams of working in the environment. Here, she started a program to protect the sea turtles. She also began practicing extreme sports such as white water rafting and scuba diving. During this time she got involved in property management, and rentals, and became a certified Real estate agent with the Costa Rica Global Association of Realtors. She completely managed one of the first beachfront developments in Langosta Beach, Crystal Sands, from its inception for many years. In 2014 she became the founder and president of the first Tamarindo Volunteer Fire Fighter Brigade. Tamarindo was her home for many years. Sylvia has also gained invaluable experiences by having lived in New Hampshire, Boston, and Italy. Sylvia enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience with her customers. It thrills her to drive, coddle, and support them in the pursuit of their dreams. Her intimate knowledge of the area as well as her beloved country will ensure that you will feel immediately comfortable.
After a long battle with cancer, she discovered her artistic side, became a painter, and got a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Now she is raising her two children (one of them with special needs). She is a fighter!
